Why are these materials used in the manufacture of children's products, which guarantees the quality of products and what laws are guarding its safety? We will try to find answers to these questions.
The abbreviations ABC, EVA, TPE are the accepted abbreviations for polymers.
TPE - thermoplastic elastomer, “soft plastic”. Elastic, plastic material resistant to weather conditions and temperature effects. It has the same high mechanical strength as vulcanized rubber, therefore TPE plastic is durable in operation. Children's products made of “soft plastic” make them safe for the child, because the extremely flexible material with rubber properties will not break into dangerous sharp fragments. TPE is used in the production of children's toys, restraining rings in pacifiers, baby bibs, bottles for baby aspirators, handles of combs, toothbrushes, and baby drinkers.
