Rubber medical products

Rubber products are widely used in modern medicine. This material consists of mineral fillers (absolutely harmless), which give rubber products maximum flexibility and softness.
Rubber products are used many times, steam sterilized for allergic components. They do not contain toxic and allergic components.
For carrying out various medical procedures and for caring for patients, sanitary and hygienic products made of rubber and latex are needed. They are waterproof and elastic. Types of rubber sanitary and hygienic products, depending on the material of manufacture, are presented on
Latex products include the following:
Medical gloves: divided into three groups, including:
1) surgical;

3) anatomical.
Surgical gloves are available in anatomical shape for a snug fit of the hands (10 numbers, length 270 mm); sterile and non-sterile; powdered inside or not powdered; thin, ultra-thin or extra strong (50% thicker than conventional ones), which provides high resistance to punctures and mechanical damage; lead inclusions may be included to protect against X-ray exposure; for use in obstetrics, gynecology, urology, gloves with an elongated cuff are produced (length 387 mm); to enhance tactile sensitivity-7 *
and a number of surgical procedures, the surface of the gloves can be textured.
Non-sterile diagnostic gloves are produced latex and latex-free (nitrile and vinyl), powdered and powder-free inside; can be blue or green; with or without textured surface; resistant to chemicals, oils. Fingertips are designed to protect the fingers, they are produced in 3 numbers depending on the length (63, 70 and 77 mm) and semi-perimeter (24, 26, 28 mm).
Nipples differ in nipples for feeding and pacifiers (attached to a plastic disc with a ring), nipple sizes for babies aged 0 to 6, from 6 to 12 and from 12 to 24 months. For the manufacture of the nipple, silicone rubber is used, indifferent
ration to food, chemically stable with respect to the child's saliva. The nipples must be able to withstand frequent boiling.
Condoms are considered as a means of preventing unwanted pregnancies.
